Life of a Glacier

This accordion fold book displays photos I took on a trip to Alaska. The photos chronicle the glacier and it’s melt all the way to the sea. Pages were painted with luminescent blue inks and the covers were created using a mix of thick gel medium, sand, and some acrylic color which was then pasted onto book board.

Materials: Photographs, heavy watercolor paper, inks, book board and gel medium with sand.
